Zagreb Publishing Fellowship 2024 will be organised as a part of the international literary circulation project “Read, Share, Enjoy” which is co-funded by the European Commission. As a partner in this project, Ibis grafika will host the other partners from the project, along with several other publishers from European countries. The fellowship will invite a maximum of 7 fellows, who will be offered full or partial support. This year, the fellowship will focus on children’s literature and it will only be open for publishers.
The goal of the fellowship is Creating new connections between EU publishers who are interested in publishing books translated from smaller languages.
The program will take place from 13 to 15 May 2024, but the fellows will be expected to be available for travel from the day before and after the professional program as they will be required to attend all three days. The selection of fellows will be based on their compatibility with the goal of the fellowship, and their previous proven track record. The applications for the fellowship will open in February 2024.
